AL RONAQGents Salon
A Dubai grooming house built on the old rules — sharp blades, unhurried chairs, and barbers who treat your time like it matters.
Started with one chair and a rule we never broke.
Al Ronaq opened as a two-chair barbershop with a simple promise: no one leaves rushed, and no blade touches skin unless it’s honed that morning. That promise is still the only thing that hasn’t changed.
The name means “radiance” — the look a good cut and a proper shave leave on a man’s face when he walks back out into the day. Everything on our floor, from the straight razors to the playlist, is chosen to protect that feeling.
Today the shop has grown to nine chairs and a waitlist most Fridays, but it still runs the way it did on day one: an appointment book kept by hand, and a barber who remembers how you like your fade before you sit down.
What Al Ronaq stands for
Three rules our barbers train on before they ever pick up a blade.
The Straight-Razor Standard
Every blade is stropped before your shave, not before your shift. If it isn’t sharp enough for our own face, it isn’t sharp enough for yours.
A Seat, Not a Slot
We book one man per chair per hour, never stacked. Your appointment is the only one your barber is thinking about while you’re in it.
Products We’d Use Ourselves
Every clay, oil, and balm on our shelf is one our barbers put in their own hair first. Nothing goes on you that hasn’t earned its place.
